This section was about choosing your topic and forming a research question based off of this. The first step to do this is to start brainstorming ideas. You can do this by making a mind map, free writing about topics your interested in, and talking to family and friends about your topic. After this you can explore your topics through the use of preliminary research. This will give you a better idea about how people are talking about topics you are interested in and how to enter in on that conversation. After committing to a single topic make sure it applies to the topic you chose is compatible with the assignment you are given. Dig deeper into the topic you have chosen by doing more in depth research on it. After getting research through credible sources start to develop a good research question. You can do this by starting general and refining your question until it is more and more specific. A good research question sets the base for a good paper.
